Here’s how the typical weekly meeting works:

Cherokee County Business Referral Group SECBN

Introduce Your Business

At each meeting, there is time for open networking and for one-on-one relationship building between members and guests. Every member in attendance is given a 30-second opportuntity to focus on their business and state who's a good referral for them. On a regular basis, guest speakers are invited to discuss topics of interest to the Cherokee county business community, or a training or brainstorming session is held between the members.  Typically however, two members per meeting are given time to present the products and services they provide including:

  • What’s in it for their customers
  • Their philosophy on service
  • What triggers a need for their products
  • Profile of their best customers

Sharing Referrals

Members bring leads and referrals to their networking partners in SECBN either in person, or online. Once the networking partners in the group understand each other’s business, products, values, and customers, they are more likely to recognize people who have a need. Sharing referrals is the main goal of the Southeast Cherokee Business Network, and this ideal form of word-of-mouth marketing helps members grow their businesses.

Questions and Brainstorming

There are times when a member may seek the input of ideas from group members to help solve a problem. The whole group develops ideas that help members be more successful based on the years of business experience each member brings to the networking group.

SECBN is an exclusive, one member per industry, referral group. To see if your business qualifies and to request an invitation to visit an upcoming meeting of the Southeast Cherokee Business Network (SECBN), please Contact Us.
